Mural for Coral Springs Museum of Art Downtown

Project Summary

The City of Coral Springs Public Art Committee will commission an artist for a large mural at the Coral Springs Museum of Art. This artwork is intended to utilize the full height and width of the available wall space, which measures approximately 17 feet in height and 64 feet in width.

Themes:

The artwork should be engaging, promote pedestrian activity, and feature a dramatic visual aspect. The mural will be situated at the Coral Springs Museum of Art's new downtown location at the corner of Sample Road and University Drive, within the Cornerstone development. This area is part of the revitalized downtown, where the city hosts numerous events throughout the year. The museum is surrounded by residential apartments, businesses, and restaurants, and is located near Coral Springs City Hall. The mural wall will face the main sidewalk along Sample Road, which experiences significant pedestrian and vehicular traffic in the heart of Coral Springs.

It is imperative that the mural be completed by February 1, 2026. Proposals and contracts will not be approved if the artist is unable to complete the work by the due date.
