We offer swim lessons year round for different ages.

Aquacise is a high intensity water aerobics class focusing on motion, flexibility and strengthening muscles.

Schedule

  • Tuesdays & Thursdays

Fee: $3/class or $30 for 12 classes

Equipment: Participants must bring dumbbells and noodles. They will not be provided.

Location: This class takes place at different pools. Please call the Aquatic Complex for schedule.

No registration necessary. Stop the Aquatic Complex front desk to pay for the class and to check-in.

This course will also include approximately 7 hours of online eLearning modules. A current email address is required at registration. Online eLearning material will be emailed to all participants. All online modules must be completed before the first in-person class on Friday, March 13th. A swimming pretest will be administered on Friday, March 13th. Anybody not passing the pretest will be refunded their registration fee and will not be able to participate in the class. In-person classes will take place at the Aquatic Complex

  • This course is designed for ages 15 and older.
  • Tread water for 2 minutes using legs only
  • Swim 150 yards continuously, plus another 50 yards using front crawl, breaststroke, or a mix of each.
  • In 1 min 40 sec, swim 20 yards, then surface dive in water at least 7ft. deep to retrieve a 10 lb. object and return to surface; exit water without stairs or ladder.
  • Attendance is mandatory

Certification Includes latest American Red Cross Training for 2 years:

  • Lifeguard Training
  • CPR for the Professional Rescuer

  • Preventing disease transmission
  • Managing spinal injury
  • Surveillance Techniques
  • Use of rescue equipment for water rescues
  • Swim assists

Diving is a full-scale recreational program featuring state-of-the-art equipment at one of the best outdoor facilities in the country. Students develop strength, flexibility and confidence while learning how to dive from the springboards and platforms.

The Coral Springs Masters Swim Program is open to all adult swimmers (fitness, triathlete, competitive, and non-competitive) ages 18 and over who are dedicated to improving their fitness through swimming.

Within the program, structured workouts from the coaches offer valuable training assistance along with stroke and technique corrections and general instruction. The workouts provide opportunities to compete and measure individual progress at the local, state, national, and international levels, whether at swim meets or triathlons. This program is designed to help swimmers improve fitness and/or specific goals and offer active support for a healthy lifestyle through friendship and camaraderie.

Pricing

  • 3-days per week - $80
  • 5-days per week - $90

(Daily practice fee for visitors: $10 plus a 30-day USMS waiver must be filled out. You may pay fee online.)

Stretch-N-Flex is a low-impact, range of motion water exercises.

Swim Training & Technique is a year-round program that develops strength, technique, and endurance. This also includes advanced swimming skills, stretching, drills, and techniques related to competitive swimming.

Guidelines

  • Swimmers should be able to pass a prerequisite test of 4 continuous laps of the pool using the freestyle stroke. (100 yards of the pool).
  • Participants must also know freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke.
  • The minimum age is 8 years.

Tryouts

  • Every Tuesday
  • 6:45 to 7:15 p.m.

Practice

Equipment required:

  • Swimming Fins, Goggles
  • Girls & Boys: Need Swim Cap
  • Boys: Brief or Jammers (No board shorts)

The Aquacades Synchro team is a well-known nationally-ranked club. The Aquacades are 7-times South Zone Champions, 7-time Gold Coast High Point Team, 2011 Age Group National and U.S. Opens Champions. The club produces exceptional athletes year after year who continue top universities with Synchronized Swimming programs or National Team.
