Pride Promoters Park Sign

Originally built in the 1990s, Pride Promoters Park has been renovated to better serve our community. Funded through Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) resources, the enhancement project aims to create a more inclusive, active, and welcoming space for residents of all ages.

Improvements Include:

  • New Playground: a modern, accessible play area designed to inspire creativity and physical activity for children of all abilities.

  • Upgraded Basketball Court: refreshed playing surface and improved court amenities to support youth and adult recreation.
  • New Amenities: installation of outdoor exercise equipment to encourage fitness and wellness in the community.
  • New Pavilion: Installation of new shade-providing pavilion with picnic table.

  • Public Art Installation: Wild Connections, a unique public art feature by Gillie and Marc, has been incorporated into the park as an interactive bench to provide whimsical seating and photo opportunities. (Funded through Public Art Funds)
