As part of our continued commitment to sustainability, safety, and improved park experiences, the City of Coral Springs is upgrading lighting systems across several local parks with energy-efficient LED fixtures. These improvements are part of a phased plan to enhance visibility, reduce environmental impact, and lower long-term maintenance costs.

Cypress Park – Completed

  • Our first-ever solar pathway lights have been installed at Cypress Park, providing a well-lit walking path during the early morning and evening.

Forest Hills Park – Completed

  • Estimated cost: $343,000 - funded by the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)

 Tennis Center and Cypress Hammock Park - Completed

  • Total project cost: $378,400. 
  • Replacement of 160 luminaires across both facilities.

Riverside Park & Mullins Park - Completed

  • Mullins Park: Two tennis courts.
  • Riverside Park: 10 pickleball courts, four volleyball courts.
  • Total project cost: $295,000, with a $10,000 contingency for permits and unforeseen conditions
