Gentle Yoga

 Gentle Yoga is accessible to adults 55 and older who can get up and down from the floor on their own. We use the classical poses and breath work of Hatha Yoga, adapting them as needed. Body movement and breath is synchronized, with emphasis on alignment and most importantly working within our capacity without strain, thereby safely increasing strength, stamina, and vitality, flexibility, joint mobility, and mental clarity.

Step 1.Class Schedule

Class is one hour.

  • Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2 p.m.

Step 2.Guidelines

  • Group is open to Coral Springs residents ages 55+ only.
  • Before attending the class, all new participants must check in at the Coral Springs Senior Center to sign a waiver and provide current photo ID.
