Battalion Chief, Ryan Reinert, EMS B Shift

Ryan Reinert serves as the EMS Battalion Chief of B Shift. Ryan has over 16 years’ experience in various positions within the organization. He joined the department in February of 2009 as a Firefighter/Paramedic. Since then, he has held the positions of step-up Driver/Engineer, Lieutenant, Captain, step up Battalion Chief in Operations, and most recently served as Battalion Chief for the Support Services Division. He has served as a dive team member and field training officer and has worked diligently with our promotional division contributing to our succession planning program. He holds an associate’s degree in EMS Science. He has earned four Lifesaving Commendations, one unit citation, and two technical rescue awards. Ryan is happily married to wife Cheryl with three beautiful children, and currently resides in Parkland, one of the communities he is proud to serve.
