Battalion Chief Ronald Abou-Semaan

Ronnie Abou-Semaan serves as Battalion Chief assigned to the Training Division for the Coral Springs-Parkland Fire Department’s L.E.A.D. Division. He joined the department in April 2007 as a Firefighter Paramedic and was promoted to Lieutenant in 2009 and Captain in 2014, previously serving several years as a Captain within the Training Division.

Throughout his career, Ronnie has been recognized for his service and leadership, earning one Unit Citation, two Lifesaving Commendations, one Administrative Service Commendation, and three Team Citations. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida and has contributed to numerous committees and focus groups, including Safety and Health, Apparatus, Research and Development, and Standard Operating Procedures. In addition, he serves as a Peer Fitness Trainer and Peer Support member. As Battalion Chief of Training, Ronnie reports to John Barry, Division Chief of the L.E.A.D. Division.
