Battalion Chief William Morhaim, EMS

William Morhaim serves as the EMS Battalion Chief for A Shift with the Coral Springs-Parkland Fire Department. He joined the department in June 2004 as a Firefighter Paramedic and has since advanced through the ranks, serving as Lieutenant and Captain.

Throughout his career, William has taken on numerous leadership and service roles, including Field Training Officer, Union Representative, and as a member of multiple committees and focus groups.

In addition to his operational experience, William dedicated many years as a Paramedic Instructor at Broward College, where he trained and mentored future paramedics and EMTs. He also taught in the EMT program at the Coral Springs Regional Institute of Public Safety.

He has earned numerous commendations during his career and is widely recognized as a positive, supportive leader and a trusted mentor within the department. He holds an Associate’s degree in Emergency Medical Services Science.
