Dale Pazdra

Dale Pazdra serves as the Deputy City Manager for the City of Coral Springs, overseeing the Building, Human Resources, Information Technology and Public Works departments. With a deep commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace and championing servant leadership, Dale plays a vital role in shaping the organizational culture and strategic direction of the city.

A proud resident of Coral Springs, Dale and his wife, Pam, have lived in the community since 1992, where they raised their two daughters. Originally from the Chicagoland area, Dale relocated to Florida to pursue his career and build a life centered on public service and leadership.

Dale joined the City of Coral Springs management team in 2006, was promoted to Director of Human Resources in 2011, took on expanded responsibilities as Assistant City Manager in 2021, and was elevated to Deputy City Manager in May 2022. Prior to his public service, Dale worked in the private sector for more than 15 years, gaining extensive experience in Human Resources operations with a focus on leadership, strategic planning, and organizational development. He has successfully led cross-functional teams and quality initiatives, establishing best practices in employee engagement and retention.

Throughout his career, Dale has demonstrated a heart for service and a commitment to the community. He serves on multiple boards and committees, including trustee positions for the City’s Public Safety Pension Boards and previously the General Employee Pension Board. Dale has been an active member of the City’s Affordable Housing Advisory Committee and the Florida Institute of Government (FIOG) Advisory Board. Additionally, he serves on the School of Public Administration Advisory Boards for Barry University, Florida Atlantic University, and Nova Southeastern University. He is an active member of the Broward County City Manager’s Association (BCCMA) and Florida City and County Management Association (FCCMA).  Previously, Dale volunteered with the local chapter of the Public Sector Human Resource Association (PSHRA), where he served for several years in executive leadership roles as Secretary, Treasurer, and President.

Beyond his city responsibilities, Dale has contributed to the field of public administration by teaching undergraduate courses in Public Administration and Human Resources as an adjunct professor at Barry University and Florida Atlantic University. His passion for mentoring and promoting careers in public service has inspired many students to follow similar paths.

Dale holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree from Barry University, earned in 2010, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Management from Elmhurst University, completed in 1990.  His leadership, dedication, and extensive experience continue to make a lasting impact on the Coral Springs community and beyond.
