The Coral Springs Police Department’s (CSPD) Self Defense class is a free, 2-hour training for women ages 13 & older, taught by experienced police officers. This class focuses on practical, real-life safety skills. In this class, participants will learn strategies to enhance situational awareness, techniques to escape uncomfortable encounters, and gain insight into current crime trends in the area to help avoid dangerous situations.

CSPD’s Self Defense Class combines discussion and easy-to-learn self-defense moves in a fun, energetic, noncompetitive, and safe learning environment. No prior experience is necessary, and participants work at their own pace. Participants are encouraged to wear sneakers and bring water.
