The city is enhancing Turtle Run Park in conjunction with an agreement with the School Board of Broward County. This cooperative project will allow more active use of this large neighborhood park.

Forest Glen Middle School (In progress)

  • Renovation of the tennis courts, to create 3 resurfaced tennis courts and 6 pickleball courts.
  • Add seating to the tennis and pickleball court areas for those utilizing the courts.

Athletic Field (Completed)

  • Replacement of athletic field fencing.
  • Renovation of the field area to create a larger multifunctional grass play space, suitable for open play, soccer, or football. 

Playground (Completed)

  • Replacement of the playground with a new interactive structure.
  • A special thank you to The Turtle Run Foundation and Turtle Run Community Development District, who each contributed $65,000 to purchase and install the new park playground.
