Known for providing fresh, healthy options with a hometown feel, Giardino Gourmet Salads opened in Coral Springs in May 2021. Since opening, Owner Yesenia Fernandez has grown to love the family and community feel that matches the vibe of her restaurant.

“Everyone is so welcoming and very community oriented,” Fernandez said. “My family and I work the store and we welcome our neighbors to pass by, say hello, and try our food.”

Offering pickup, deliver, and dine-in, customers can choose from a pre-crafted menu item or create their own salads and wraps with an almost limitless selection of toppings, including homemade croutons, fresh veggies, flavorful dressings, and more.

For Women’s History Month, Fernandez hopes that as a business owner and a mom, that she can inspire others.

“I want anyone to know, but especially little girls everywhere, that there is nothing they can not accomplish,” Fernandez said. “There are no limits to what you can do with hard work, determination and perseverance, regardless of gender; I want my daughter, and other little girls, to look at me and my female business counterparts as inspiration and proof that gender is not a barrier to success.”
