When seeking to open her business in 2019, Blo Blow Dry Bar owner, Jessica Oster knew that Coral Springs would be an ideal spot for her salon. Offering signature blow outs, extensions, up-dos, was treatments and more, “Blo” has already earned a following in the community.

“Our family has lived in Coral Springs for more than 30 years because we love the safety, the culture, and how it is evolving yet still feels like a place to call home,” Oster said. “My number one goal is always providing excellent customer service and to sustain a strong standing clientele in our community.”

Oster wants to be known not only for providing top-notch customer service, but also as a sought-after place to work and job creator for the community.

“My hope is that the business continues to grow, and that we can continue to provide job opportunities to work in a fun, engaging environment.” Oster said. “I always want our clients to feel welcomed and appreciated, and to leave feeling beautiful.

For Women’s History Month, Oster hopes that as a female small business owner she can inspire other women to pursue their goals and celebrate their victories.

“I hope it gives women the courage to have their dreams become a reality, and realize that we can do anything that we put our mind to,” Oster said. “We have many learning opportunities, and creative freedom which gives us personal satisfaction, and independence to be a leader.”
