FY 2022 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program – Local Solicitation

The Coral Springs Police Department is accepting public comment and input regarding the FY 2022 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program from the residents of the City of Coral Springs.  The FY 2022 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant is a formula grant based on each municipalities’ crime statistics in which grant funding can be utilized for law enforcement programs, equipment and activities.

Proposed Distribution:

The Coral Springs Police Department is eligible to receive $15,837 in grant funding through the FY 2022 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program; award by the U.S. Department of Justice and administered by the Broward Sheriff’s Office.   The Coral Springs Police Department recommends utilizing these funds to purchase equipment/technology to increase community safety and efficiency of services provided by the department.
