Randy Webb

Randy Webb - Tennis Instructor

Randy has an extensive tennis background in South Florida. He is a graduate of the University of Maine and Nova University. Randy has been coaching and teaching in this community for many years. His experience includes teaching at two of South Florida’s prestigious country clubs, The Inverrary Racquet Club and The Tennis Club at Eagle Trace. In addition, he has worked with some of the top players in the world at the Harold Solomon Tennis Institute located in downtown Fort Lauderdale. In 2009 and 2010, he coached the local Stoneman Douglas High School boys and girls teams to the State Championships.

Randy has played tennis with former world number one players Bjorn Borg, Pete Sampras and Arthur Ashe and taught special tennis clinics with Jimmy Connors, Billie Jean Kind and Roy Emerson. He supports local charities including Children’s Home Society where recently, he played in a CHS event with the Bryan brothers’“ the world’s number one doubles team.

Randy has achieved a P1 level with the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) and is member of the United States Professional Tennis Registry (USPTR) and the United States Racquet Stringers Association (USRSA). He continues to play and enjoy participating in USTA tournaments and league play and in 2009 went to the national 4.5 championships in Tucson, AZ. He thoroughly enjoys teaching all levels and all ages and is ready to help you out with your game.

It is extremely rewarding to be a staff professional at such a fine, well recognized tennis facility as the Tennis Center of Coral Springs. The members are fantastic and enjoy their social games as well as our tournaments, instructional programs and special events, The activity level at the facility is set on high all year round.
