Guidelines

  • Blue and green carts must be placed on the curb before 7 a.m. and removed by 7 p.m. on their scheduled pick up day.
  • Garbage items placed in the carts should not extend above the rim. Paper bags, cardboard boxes, recycling bins and oil drums cannot be used as garbage containers. Mirrors, glass table- tops, windowpanes, plate glass, etc., will not be picked up unless they are properly and safely placed in a rigid container.
  • Hazardous waste including oil, paints, insecticides, chemicals, automotive parts, batteries, tires, medical waste, including hypodermic needles and syringes, will not be collected.

NOTE: Carts cannot be set out earlier than 7 p.m. the day before pick-up day. Carts should be stored inside or shielded from view by landscaping
