The City of Coral Springs is highlighting the homes of residents who have creatively decorated for the holidays. 

Guidelines
  • Residents must submit a photo and video of the exterior of their home to participate. The contest is for exterior decorations only, including decorations in windows that are visible from the exterior.
  • Homes featured in entries must be located in Coral Springs.
  • Due to limited public access, homes in gated communities are not eligible to participate.
  • All submissions are subject to approval by the City of Coral Springs.
  • All entries will be shared on the city's digital Deck the Halls Map.
  • All entries must be received by 4 p.m. on Monday, December 4
  • Winners will be notified by Wednesday, December 11 via email. 
Judging

New this year: Judges will select winning homes based on specific categories that will allow for recognition of more specialized styes of decorating.

  • Most Traditional Display: Focus on classic holiday themes like Santa Claus, reindeer, snowflakes, etc. This category celebrates the traditional holiday spirit.
  • Most Creative Theme: Encourage participants to think outside the box and come up with unique and creative themes for their holiday light displays.
  • Best Neighborhood Collaboration: Encourage neighbors to work together and judge displays that come together as a collective effort, creating unified and impressive holiday display(s).
  • Best Use of Inflatables: Give credit to displays that incorporate inflatable decorations in an eye-catching and appealing manner.
  • Best Use of Technology: Recognize participants who utilize advanced technology, such as programmable LEDs or projection mapping, to enhance their light displays.
