Mayor Scott J. Brook

In November 2022, Scott J. Brook, the Mayor of Coral Springs and a renowned attorney specializing in family law, was officially sworn in for a second term.

Vice Mayor Shawn Cerra

Shawn Cerra, a resident of Coral Springs since 1993, was sworn in for an additional term in November 2022.

Nancy Metayer Bowen

Nancy Metayer Bowen, a long-time resident of Coral Springs, serves as the city’s first African-American and Haitian-American woman Commissioner.

Joshua Simmons

Joshua Simmons became the first African American Commissioner in Coral Springs when he was elected in November 2018 and was sworn in for a second term in November 2022.

Joy Carter

Joy Carter was elected as Commissioner of Coral Springs in November 2014 and re-elected in November 2020. She has been a resident of Coral Springs since 1985.
