The City of Coral Springs will host an in-person celebration in honor of Juneteenth, Freedom Day; a day that symbolizes the abolition of slavery in the United States of America. The celebration will include messages of hope from community leaders, musical and step performances and a historic perspective about the significance of Juneteenth. 

Entertainment Schedule

  • 6:45 p.m. - Step and Dance Performances
  • 7 p.m. - FM Band Miami
  • 7:15 p.m. - Hair Demo (at the All Dolled Up Salon Tent)

Activities

  • Amazon Lounge, decorated by A Jolie Design - VIP Tickets are available for purchase. (Tickets include two drinks, discounts for on-site food trucks, complimentary water, phone charging station, and back massages.) Tickets will not be sold at the event.

About Juneteenth

Juneteenth marks the liberation of thousands of enslaved men, women and children of Galveston, Texas on June 19, 1865 – two and a half years after President Lincoln had already signed the Emancipation Proclamation.
