Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School

On February 7, 2023, the Broward County School Board voted to have Coral Springs students that reside south of Wiles Road to Royal Palm Boulevard in the area shown on the map(PDF, 2MB)  rezoned from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School to Coral Glades High School.

Your City Commission strongly opposes the board’s plan to rezone for a single school as opposed to a strategic regional approach to best meet the needs of all students, not just those who reside in the City of Parkland. If your child is impacted or as a Coral Springs homeowner you want a voice in school zoning, you are urged to contact your Broward County School Board Members via email and attend all future rezoning meetings.
