Brad Mock

Deputy Chief Brad Mock currently oversees the Administrative Division of the Coral Springs Police Department. Mock began his career with the Coral Springs Police Department in 1998 where he served as a Patrol officer until 2004, at which time he was transferred to the Tactical and Gang Unit where he spent 3 years as a Tactical and Gang Officer.

In 2007, he was promoted to the rank of Sergeant. As a Sergeant, he supervised Patrol, the Tactical and Gang Unit and the K-9 Unit. In January 2010, he was promoted to Lieutenant, where he supervised Patrol until July of 2010, when he was promoted to Captain.

He has also been a member of the Special Weapons and Tactics Team beginning in 2000 and held the rank of Commander from 2012-2022. He served as Captain of the Special Operations Component, which includes the Streets Intelligence Unit/Threat Management, Strategic Enforcement Team, K-9, Bikes, BEAR, and VIN. He also spent several years serving as Captain of the Criminal Investigations Component, which includes Economic Crimes, Property Crimes, Crimes Against Persons, SVU, and CSI.

Deputy Chief Mock graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. He holds memberships to the National Tactical Officers Association, Florida SWAT Association, Florida FBI National Academy Associates, Florida Police Chiefs Association, and International Association of Chiefs of Police.
