Recreation Access Discount Program

Income barriers should not prevent a child from participating in a city Parks and Recreation class. That’s why we developed a discount program for low-income families that will allow qualifying residents to enroll in select classes at a free or discounted rate.

Step 1.Guidelines

  • Participation will be limited to the first 60 households per registration period.
  • Interested families must demonstrate financial need, and provide proof of residency
  • Total annual household income must not exceed 180% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines for the previous tax year to qualify.
  • In lieu of a physical card, a credit of $200 will be added to the resident’s household account and deducted as they register for classes and programs with Coral Springs Parks and Recreation.
  • The credit is only applicable for participants who are under 18.

Step 2.Select a Class
