Vacation Rental Registration

Requirements

A vacation rental shall be registered annually on or before the thirtieth (30th) day of September.

  • Vacation Rentals must be maintained  in compliance with standards contained with the Code of Ordinances and the Land Development Code of the City of Coral Springs.
  • Property owner or authorized agent must be available with authority to address and coordinate solutions to problems with the rental property twenty four (24) hours a  day, seven (7) days a week.
  • All dwelling units shall meet the minimum requirements of the Florida Building Code.
  • Initial and routine inspections of the dwelling unit for compliance are required prior to issuance of license. Click for the inspection checklist.

Application Process

Step 1.Apply for your vacation rental license

You will need the following information for the application process.

  • Completed application, notarized, and signed by property owner, property manager or authorized agent.

Step 2.Submit your application with payment

  • Scan and e-mail to csbusinesstax@coralsprings.gov or mail to
    City of Coral Springs, Attn: Business Tax, 9500 W. Sample Road, Coral Springs, FL 33065
  • Once your completed application and payment has been submitted, it will be reviewed by the city. Once approved, you’ll be contacted to set up an inspection appointment.
  • Vacation Rental Fee Schedule (Fees are non-refundable):
    • Vacation Rental Registration: $296.54
    • Vacation Rental Annual Renewal: $116.28
    • Vacation Rental Modification: $116.28
